Meet Emily and Caitlin: HCLC's 2018 US summer interns!
Hackney Community Law Centre (HCLC) is delighted to welcome Caitlin Yuhas and Emily Chen to the Centre as our 2018 summer interns. Caitlin and Emily are from the Unites States. They will be spending June and July with HCLC.
Caitlin (pictured left) comes from Illinois. Caitlin is a graduate law student at the University of Richmond. Caitlin has been to London before but didn't get a chance to go on the London Eye so plans to do so this time around. She is also keen to see a West End Show. Caitlin was formerly a professional dancer and is now a professional strong woman. She also enjoys reading and travel.
Emily (pictured right) comes from California. Emily is an undergraduate student at Berkeley, University of California, studying English and Political Science. Emily loves dogs. She also likes to travel. Since arriving in London, Emily has enjoyed visiting Kensington Palace - she especially liked the sunken garden. Emily hopes to go to see a Shakespeare play at the Globe Theatre.
Caitlin and Emily's summer internship continues a successful six year partnership between HCLC and a variety of US based universities, most notably the University of Richmond.
HCLC is delighted to have the opportunity to host such bright, keen and hardworking American students. We are equally pleased that we are contributing to their personal and career development by giving them a taste of life at a busy London Law Centre.
Welcome Caitlin and Emily!
