We Walked the 2014 London Legal Walk!
22/5/2014
On Monday 19 May 2014, Hackney Community Law Centre (HCLC) participated in the 10th London Legal Walk organised by the London Legal Support Trust.
The 10km walk saw more than 10,000 walkers proceed through London, on foot, to raise funds for charities and law centres providing advice to some of London's most vulnerable people.
HCLC was really pleased and extremely grateful to be walking with our friends, the superb campaigning journalists, The Justice Gap. Jon Robins who edits the Justice Gap is a HCLC Patron. This year, Justice Gap chose to donate the funds they raised for the London Legal Walk to HCLC.
We were delighted that Sadiq Khan MP, Member of Parliament for Tooting and the Shadow Justice Secretary, chose to join the Justice Gap's team.
Thank you so much again to Jon Robins, Kim Evans and Mary Rachel McCabe from The Justice Gap for their amazing Legal Walk fundraising efforts. If you'd like to donate to our London Legal Walk, our donations page is still open HERE. WATCH A WONDERFUL VIDEO OF THE WALK MADE BYTHE ONE MAN FILM TEAM HERE!
