We are delighted to report that on Sunday the 31st of August 2014, Diane Morrison, HCLC solicitor, volunteer & intern co-ordinator, library pop-up shop advisor AND intrepid marathon runner (pictured above), successfully completed the Fulham and Putney riverside half marathon, as part of efforts to raise funds for HCLC and the London Legal Support Trust (LLST). 

The London Legal Support Trust raises funds for charities and advice agencies who give free legal advice to people who can’t afford legal help.

The Half Marathon started at Barn Elms Sports Centre, crossed Putney Bridge, headed to Craven Cottage (Fulham FC), passed over Hammersmith Bridge and then headed back down towards Putney.

The half marathon was a two lap course with a lovely scenic riverside route. Diane (pictured above crossing the finish line) who has run the London Marathon a whopping 4 times(!) ran as part of the London Legal Support Trust team, officially completing the half marathon in an impressive 2 hours 19 minutes and 49 seconds. HCLC and LLST are extremely grateful to everyone who sponsored Diane's half marathon run.  Her fundraising page is still open for donations so if you missed your chance to sponsor her before the race you can still do so HERE!
