We have just completed a 10-day multi-track trial at the Central London County Court with our client succeeding in retaining the right to possess the home he has occupied since childhood in the early 1980s. The claim was upheld on the basis of an acquisition constructive trust, but alternatively on the basis of adverse possession and proprietary estoppel. This was a singularly difficult case both factually and legally but we were able to rely on immense assistance from lead Counsel Kerry Bretherton KC and junior Counsel Jeremy Ogilvie-Harris and we are very thankful for their support, insight and skill throughout proceedings
